Gifts of Love
is our World Mission focus for Christmas.  Envelopes are available on the display.
Many people give donations on behalf of a friend or relative and cards are available
in the foyer.

Our December Mission offering will support Uniting Church International Mission projects.

You might like to pool your resources as a group and buy a cow for a family in Timor but there are many inexpensive projects.

Save all your Postage Stamps
and hand them in to the Welcome Centre.
Volunteers at the Synod Office sort and prepare the stamps of buyers.  The money collected helps pay for the cost of postage and freight for books to schools and churches run by our partner churches overseas.

Opportunities for Service in 2008

Sausages and Salad

On Thursday evenings in February and March Sausages and Salad will be offered at the church.  We need people who are willing to help in one or more of the following ways: set up, cook BBQ, prepare salads, serve, clear away, welcome and talk to visitors and a couple to coordinate the help during March.  Please register your interest at the Welcome Centre if you are able to help in any of these ways, or speak with Judy Wait on 8264 7505.

Advance notice for Time Out
This is an exciting opportunity to welcome and befriend international students in our community.  It will be launched with a BBQ lunch on Saturday 15 March.  We are looking for young adults and families who would enjoy being involved in this ministry.  At the Launch we need volunteers to welcome, transport, help with catering, provide live music, design advertising posters or set up.  More details to follow or speak to Bec Harvey, Lyn Frimpong or Judy Wait.
