Small Group Studies - Pathway 2
Term 3 Pathway small group studies are now available in booklet form. If you wish to obtain copies for your group, please leave your name and number of books required at the Welcome Centre and we will photocopy them for you. The studies can be collected on the following Sunday or during the week.
Prayer Requests Welcomed
We have several groups who, at short notice, can respond to any urgent prayer request that you may have. Prayer Request Sheets are to be found on two wall slots just inside the main church entrance. If you pick up a form on entry to worship, complete it and place it in with the offering or complete it during worship and pass in to the Welcome Centre after worship. Remember that prayer troops are greatly encouraged by positive feedback from their ministry via the Church Office anytime. - Pastor Allan
Thinktank Volunteer Tutoring
Can’t afford a tutor?
Thinktank offers casual tutoring in all subjects for high school and upper primary students, for a gold coin donation.
Mondays : 4-6.30pm in the Ministry Centre.

We are beginning a new book and so now would be a good time to join us. We read a variety of fiction and non fiction books covering very diverse topics and issues. If you love reading and would like to know more about book club please see Anne Headland, or telephone 8265 3066.

We have been blessed to have received around 100 titles, old & new, to add to our collection, now nearly 2,000 items. Thanks to all donors. Now we need YOU to borrow books please, as our current storage is now at near capacity. Browse the table display in the Western Room today & borrow now! Sunday Welcome Centre
Remember to visit the Welcome Centre which is open after the 8.30am, 10.30am and 4.30 pm services. You can deposit or collect information from your pigeon hole, leave written notes to the Pastors or specific people, order audio tapes from the Sunday sermons, pay for your Devotionals, or register for various events coming up in the church community.
We see the Welcome Centre as an expression of the friendliness and welcoming nature of Hope Valley and we give thanks for the team of volunteers who staff the Welcome Centre.

Children’s Ministry at Home
The Great Bible Adventure is a FREE 50 night resource. Children read a set story from the Bible to a “grown up” then talk about it and pray. It is fun and easy. A treasure pack is at the end. The program starts on 22 October, so get in quick.

Summer Discovery Evening
You are invited to a Summer Discovery information evening to be held in the Western Room on Monday 4 December at 7.30pm. Our program this year is entitled ‘Discover Land’ and is based on the story of Joseph. We would appreciate your help and we would value your prayers. If you would like to be involved, but cannot come to the meeting could you please let me know. Also could you save wrapping paper and ribbon or anything else that we could use to decorate camels. Your Help Needed!
On the first Sunday of each month we have communion and on that day a mission box is made available for people to bring in any non-perishable food items for mission outreach to help needy people. We are happy to receive non-perishable items, eg: tin food, longlife milk, packet food, rice, cereal etc.

Tea Tree Gully Council have advised that they will be erecting No Parking signs on Austral Street in the near future. The parking restrictions will apply will apply every day of the week. Can we all please observe the new arrangements from now on?
