Letter Box Drop

New 4.30pm service advertising

One of the ways we are promoting the new 4.30pm service is to letterbox drop 10,000 postcards in the north eastern area.

Your help in distributing these cards is needed. The postcards are in bundles of 200 and can be collected from the front reception foyer.

Please highlight the streets that you are able to letterbox drop. It would be great to have these in letterboxes by 3 August.

Pray the Holy Spirit will stir the hearts of many people in the community to seek God as the postcard is read.

Building Security

Holden Hill Police advise that there has been a recent spate of serious criminal trespasses (break-ins) on places of worship throughout the metropolitan area. These offences have predominantly occurred overnight. Please ensure that the church premises are securely locked if you are the last person to leave the building. We have also been asked to report any suspicious vehicles and persons to the police on 131 444. This may include what would otherwise be considered as ‘normal’ activity and movement in the area, but is occurring at an odd time, such as in the early hours of the morning. Descriptions of the vehicle and person(s) would be useful for the police.

Prayer Requests Welcomed

We have several groups who, at short notice, can respond to any urgent prayer request that you may have. Prayer Request Sheets are to be found on two wall slots just inside the main church entrance. If you pick up a form on entry to worship, complete it and place it in with the offering or complete it during worship and pass in to the Welcome Centre after worship. Remember that prayer troops are greatly encouraged by positive feedback from their ministry via the Church Office anytime. - Pastor Allan
