Two years ago we were blessed by sharing in 40 Days of Purpose, using the book ‘The Purpose Driven Life’. Commencing 26 February, we will participate in 40 Days of Community, during Lent 2006.
The materials will be available soon.
We strongly encourage everyone to make space for this great opportunity. It involves Sunday messages; personal daily readings using the book ‘Better Together’ by Rick Warren andSmall Group sharing.
It culminates in a celebration on Palm Sunday, 9 April.

Do you like flowers?
Would you like to learn to
arrange flowers?
Have you had any experience in
Flower Arranging?
If you answered ‘YES’ to any of these questions - READ ON!
We have an active Floral Art Group in this Church, which meets to learn and to create. As well as providing flowers for the Sunday worship, we make floral gifts on behalf of the Church. In 2005 we ran a very successful morning tea in a local Heritage Garden, and also a Gingerbread House Night.
We are looking for ways to expand our ministry in 2006, with more opportunities for learning, teaching, sharing and outreach. We welcome all ages, and would also like more people to help with the Sunday flowers.
If you would like to participate in any way, or just know more - please ring Glenys Pudney on 8264 2748 or Heather Bald on 8331 9901.

Thank You church family for you support and encouragement with Summer Discovery. It was an amazing week with great variety. The children learnt about the Fruit of the Spirit. Each day, from behind one of our spectacular planets, the fruit focus for the day would emerge. The worship songs reinforced our theme of ‘Space Probe 9’ looking at the 9 Fruits of the Spirit. Reuben deWaal entertained us and had the children ‘eating out of his hand’. There was great drama, many different physical activities. Creative crafts and different presentations on the theme of the day. We concluded a very busy week with a wonderful evening concert with the children presenting something that they had learnt during the week. Undergirding our week was a team of people praying for us and we are grateful for that. The team that worked to grow children in discipleship were outstanding and our special thanks to everyone who contributed in some way. May God be glorified by our efforts and may you all be blessed as you have supported us. Thank you.
